Our accordion player, Catherine Morse
Punters at the opening; seemed like they really were a part of the art, and they knew it. This made the opening an artistic aspect of the entire show. This was the last local opening at six_a gallery, and even though it was bucketing down with rain outside, there was an unusually large amount of people and the energy was intensely enthusiastic. I played a player piano at one stage and the sound of people talking drowned it out completely.
Nicola Smith's dodgem car paintings above my zine library.
This woman turned up to the opening in the exact same outfit which I painted her in. The lighting made it impossible to take a good photo and the gallery did not provide me with professional photos, but click on the image to see a version of the painting.
